I create sculptures and fixtures combining iron and different materials under the main theme of "what is known and what is not.
The exhibited works are created to make meaningless ready-made products such as bolts and handles, which have been given a purpose or role by people.
I want people to become aware of the material existence in front of them by overturning their preconceived images or making them feel uncomfortable.
My work is an act of confirming the truth of what we perceive as "known" through information obtained through the five senses, such as what we have seen, touched, and the presence of things we have felt on our skin.
In order to find the source of reassurance, I pick up elements that exist quietly in my daily life and try to remember "what was this?".
